Default Onroute topographic Wandelkaart Nederland v.1.12 + v.1.13 lite for garmin

Onroute topographic Wandelkaart Nederland v.1.12 + v.1.13 lite for garmin

    hoes

    • topographic map of all woodland in the Netherlands
    • based on the topographic maps of the Land
    • for all Garmin navigation devices
    • Automatically calculates routes, including on forest roads
    • very easy to use
    • easy to follow paths of existing trails

Everybody knows navigation inside the car. As soon as possible from A to B. But if walkers want more. It can not get an efficient route, but a nice walk. And to always know where you are, how far you go astray. With OnRoute topographic walking map is now possible.

Not only does the map all forest, moreover, the unit can also calculate your own route! And even if you walk in you know the convenience of car navigation! Walk your wrong, no problem: the route fits itself to you, instead of vice versa.
If you opt for the CD version of the map you can also prepare your routes on the computer. Total 14,000 km of trails that are part of already existing trails are shown highlighted

The Onroute Topographic Maps is completely based on the top-10 vector map of the Land Registry. And thus the most detailed topographic map of the Netherlands is there! Even the narrow path on the photo's on!

The map works on almost all modern devices from Garmin. An "outdoor unit" is best, but also a Nuvi is possible to navigate forest paths

Hi Catymag, I finally see the onroute map in Mapsource! Thats ok. But when I upload to Dakota it still says Maps are Locked. And they are unlocked in Mapsource????

Thanks for al your help. But how can I ad new key in mapsource??
Because I unlocked it with mapset toolkit and nowhere is asked for Device ID.

--> i have delete the unlock from mapsource. Now mapsource says map is locked. Than I start Jetmouse and fill in Garmin Device ID and MapID 78.
Create new key and fill in with unlockwizzard but still it doesn't work :-(
Hopefully you know what I am doing wrong...

    Maybe you can give me step by step info? What I did;
    Download file, unpack.
And then, use mapsettoolkit and then Jetmouse
or use the program Unlock Map Directory?

    Please help

    HI Catymag,

Thanks for your support!!!! Now I can see the map in Dakota and is not locked. I have tried it wil smal part of the map. Tonight I will upload the hole map.
    Once again, THANKS.

unlock your mapsource patched send the gmapsupp to C: and you'll have it in C. /Garmin-
    unlock it with
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
it will be unlocked in every device
    transfer it in your gps
if it's locked again it means that your gps firmware doesnt recognize these kind of unlocked files so you must use Jetmouse and an unl file
    so
rename the map gmapsupp.img and unlock with jetmouse keygen creating the unl file with notepad
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

on jetmouse keygen v1.5 put either the 10 digit gps unit id number (will be unlocked only in your gps)or the sd serial # (it will be unlocked in any gps you put the sd card
under-select map product --on the bottom ---custom map set---add the maps FID# also called mapid #

click generate a few times on the bottom-all those numbers will unlock the map--copy that 25 digit number into the gmapsupp.unl file --- don't add a enter --just 25 digits on the first line ----
on a sd card create a garmin directory--in that directory copy your gmapsupp.unl file (unlock file) and the gmapsupp.img or put it in gps internal memory
When you save the .UNL file in Notepad, be sure you set the "Save as type" to "All Files", not "Text Documents".

add the file to your map folder, if you have another map in your gps rename your second map gmapsup2.img or gmapprom2.img - the unl file gmapsup2.unl etc

I downloaded the locked IMG version and created an UNL file. The Wandelkaart opens fine on my Garmin nüvi 350, but I am unable to enter an address I like to walk to. It asks me to enter a state or province, but whatever letter of the alphabet I type, it finds no match. Anything I do wrong? First time I am using the Wandelkaart. Is it supposed to know city names, street names, etc? If not, how do I tell it where I want to go to?

    Edit:
    Talking about version 1.13

The Onroute Topo map of The Netherlands is a good map but it's discontinued.
The successor is Topo Benelux, for The Netherlands it's based on the same data (provided by the Dutch Kadaster) and the addition of Belgium and Luxemburg makes cross-border hikes a lot easier.

Which topo benelux version? There are several. I have a topomap Benelux V1. On the garmin site is a version V2, it's a routable version but the maps are 1:50.000.

The Onroute maps are based on the Dutch kadaster 1:10.000 maps. So they are much better for The Netherlands. Benelux V2 is nice for belgium and Luxemnourg But I think I prefer them separate as well in a lower scale.
The Onroute maps 1.12 and 1.13 light are still the latest onroute versions available on their site.

I wold like to have the instalable ISO's of these Onroute maps. But somehow they are not available.

The topic title may be a bit confusing though, but it is v2, dated 3-1-2010. See post #20 in referred thread.
