Default Combine 2 different TomTom maps

Hello everyone, I hope that someone will be able to help me out with this problem I've been having.

I'm using TomTom 6.02 with the 675 maps, don't know if it matters, but if it does you know now.

I have a map of the Benelux & one of GB + Ireland. I'd like to be able to switch both maps around when needed, I did notice that TomTom is capable of doing that.

I have my Benelux files in the root folder of my TomTom map & my UK one in a separate folder.
I first tried putting both in separate folders, but then it won't detect any.
TomTom detects my Benelux map & it works fine. But it won't detect my UK one, if I overwrite the Benelux files it does detect the UK ones without any problems.

So my question is, how can I make it detect the UK map while it's in a different folder? I have tried searching around a bit for it, but either I haven't been able to find an answer..

I hope someone can help me out here!

    Thanks in advance

by me it worked like this,

e:\benelux\ (all the files from the benelux)

e:\germany\ (all the files from germany)

and then i could switch the maps in side tomtom

i think you are missing some files, compare the files from both maps.

Thanks superg, I'll try to put the map files in a folder in the root of my memory card, hope that'll work. =)

And I'm sure I'm not missing any files, as I can use both maps without any problems if I switch them around in my TomTom folder, I just can't seem to use both without having to replace files

    EDIT:

Putting the files in maps in the ROOT folder of my memory card instead of putting them in maps in my TomTom folder seemed to do the trick!
    Thanks a lot, rep added.

    I didn't say it was a trick :P
What I meant was doing what he told me to do, made it work.. even though most read-me's always say to put the map files in your TomTom folder.

    Thanks again either way
