    Default Garmin 760mlt-d help please

Hi I bought this from Amazon and collected it yesterday. We are currently on holiday an I don't have access to a computer. Is the unit supposed to come with maps pre-loaded? When I try to input a destination I get the error code 'no map data available'. Have checked the maps and there does not appear to be one present? It just says update maps. Am I doing something wrong? Can anyone help?

    Thank you

760MLT-D is a typo and you mean LMT-D for sure. That could be a dezl or Camper-RV model but regardless there should be OEM maps loaded and you're also entitled to lifetime map updates ('LM'). 'T-D' indicates digital traffic entitlement.

Firstly, check you're in a location where there is coverage by your OEM map which should be all of EU. Check Settings [main screen] > Map & Vehicle > MyMaps to see installed detail map. If you have coverage in your physical location but still can't see any map detail [roads etc] on the 'View Map' screen from main page then [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] it or preferably [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] then let it regain a good satellite fix.
