Default Nuvi 58 lmt - arrival times seem wrong

I purchased a Garmin Nuvi 58 LMT two weeks ago. When I went to use it on a long trip (roughly 755 kilometers) I noticed that the arrival time and length of trip was incorrect and I based this on my older Nuvi 360 and Nuvi 755 gps units and the fact I have driven this route a million times. My 55LMT indicates that this trip will take 90 minutes longer. I have called Garmin over the last two weeks and they have tried to figure it out and in the end suggested a replacement. I got the replacement tonight and the same thing. Here are some things that I have noticed or am doing. Just a note that the settings in my older two Garmin units are the same as my newer 58LMT.

    1. Have done all the updates as required
    2. Checked the time (automatic)
    3. Locale is correct (Canada)
    4. Have the correct navigation settings chosen
    5. Compare to google maps and my older 360 and 755 match up perfect to google maps
    6. The turn by turn instructions on the 58LMT are identical compared to the Nuvi 755 and 360 except for two street which account for two kilometers and I assume that does not add up to an extra one hour+
    7. Accuracy is within 9 - 12 meters and simulation mode is off

I do not understand why my newer unit that I would assume is more accurate than my older ones would give me an incorrect reading

One Garmin tech told me I have to use the unit and then it will figure out how I drive and start making adjustments based on that. That does not seem to make too much sense as I would assume the maps have accounted for minimum speed limits etc and would adjust if you exceeded those or went below those speeds

Any thoughts would be great as I do not believe I could have two defective units so I have to assume there is something I may be doing wrong

It seems to be a firmware bug, what fw are you running?
