Default Gamin nuvi 2515lt to BT Headset

    I have a GARMIN nuvi 2515 and a BT Intercom Headset,of which
i'm trying to pair together, but with no joy,
The headset paired straight away to my iphone 4s,so i dont know
what i'm doing wrong,so lots of help would really be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance Baza

    EDIT,,,,
Sat Nav,and Headset are now removed from iphone, bluetooth OFF on iphone, iphone switched OFF
Turn Sat Nav ON,it says switch on bluetooth device,i switch ON Headset,Sat Nav finds Headset,i click SAVE,
then this pops up,which is my iphone Passkey

Doing a factory reset would not hurt, although no guarantee can be given that it will solve the BT issue. You could use Garmin Express to make a back-up of personal settings (favorites, home location, recently found, etc) before doing the factory reset, so you can restore them later.

0000, 1234, 1212 etc are common passkeys for many BT devices. AFAIK, all Garmin BT-capable devices use 1234 as the default passkey. I guess your nuvi 2515 is trying to pair with the helmet seeing that the iPhone is OFF but of course you have no way to enter that code to the helmet which is not passkey/PIN code capable. Most devices will initially try to connect to the last paired-device by default however then the passkey isn't required.

The short answer is that only certain Garmin products are capable of pairing with helmets and the nuvi 25x5 series aren't included:

Please don't open new threads for every question you make on the same matter.

The nuvi passkey is hardcoded at 1234 and cannot be changed.
