    @NASSER15
    Behind the spoiler below are Text and keyboard folders for 25x7, extract the RAR file then add the folders to the root of your 2597 [not in the .System folder]. BTW, sometimes WebUpdater will supply missing files which won't be offered by GarminExpress but not for you this time it seems.

    Post a screenshot of what you have in the unit's .System folder so we can see what's missing please.

    You must have a basemap [gmapbmap.img] in .System, get V5.01 from here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. You are also missing the detail map needed for navigation, connect to GarminExpress and download the latest OEM map. Then under 'Tools'>'Optional Updates' take any other files offered which you need.

    Sure detail map works in Map folder. However you must have a basemap too or routing will be unreliable.

    What method? Do you mean you've used the KB and Text folders which I supplied in the RAR file? If so they should work as for Arabic in my 2797 which uses the same keyboard files as your 2597. I got them from the official Garmin RGN files:
    Code:
    Please Login or Register to see the links
    Are you selecting Arabic in both Text and Keyboard Languages settings correctly? From main page ['Where To?'/'View Map'], press Settings>All Settings>Language & Keyboard [or similar sequence for your 2597]. This should be available in both: العربية

    I don't know what you mean. The 'Garmin Express' file in the root is only an internet shortcut which takes you here:

    It's to download GarminExpress, the program.

    I don't think your problem is with GarminExpress, but you can try to uninstall it completely, clean the registry and then reinstall it. Before you do that, let's assume the problem is with the unit though. Hard reset it or better still clear nonvol, but first make sure you have the correct keyboard and Text folder that i posted for you which both definitely have Arabic in them and try again if you don't have those folders i posted. Here's how to reset it and/or clear NV [non-volatile memory]: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
