Default Garmin Montana 680 or Oregon 650?

    Hi!

I've been using GPSMAP 64st for about a year now, with varied experiences (mostly good). I'm now looking for a new GPS with touchscreen (a bit tired of the buttons on the GPSMAP) for mostly geocaching and hiking. Both Montana 680 and Oregon 650 seems to be good alternatives, however I would like your experiences about the devices. I have a few questions that I couldn't find any answers to using the search function (or only old reviews from 2014 or so).

    1. Is the Montana device too big for hiking and geocaching? Is Oregon too small?
    2. I LOVE the belt clip

that I use on the GPSMAP, is there any similar alternative for Montana?
    3. I've heard a lot of complaints about the Oregon 650 with bugs (battery, freezing, compass problems, bad accuracy), do you guys have any experiences about this?

What do you think, Montana or Oregon?

    Best regards,

    1. Montana is really big but it have really big screen. I think only two case with reason to buy it. The first is very poor eyesight and the second and more reasonable if you have any off road motor vehicles or boats. Oregon is very perfect in screen for more details.

    2. Why not even for very big Montana for example:

    3. Montana is imperfect too. I hope you do not entrust your life to these device. There will be no problem with both device on your active recreation. Garmin developers will not be much upset if occasionally you recall of they with bad word in any case
Love your wife? Buy yourself a GPS for answering to her favorite question: "Dear, where are you?".

I guess soon we'll have a newer Oregon version, I'd wait for a bit.
