.img is the file extension used by Garmin for their map files. Coincidentally, the same file extension is also used for compressed files. As a result, due to file association, your computer may "think" the gmapique.img file can be unzipped (as clearly shown in the picture in your post). However... IT CAN NOT BE UNZIPPED! It needs to be used "as is".

If it is an original file, it is likely to be locked. If you want to use the file on a microSD in another Garmin device, the file may need unlocking first. Copy the file to the microSD or to the desktop of your computer and unlock the file using [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Make sure you read the five notes in post #256!

Place the unlocked gmapique.img file in a folder named Garmin on the microSD and use it in the other Garmin device. If it does not work, you may need to change the name of the map file to gmapsupp.img (depending on the model GPS device).

    Edit:
If you need more specific instructions, you need to provide more information as to what exactly you are trying to achieve by putting the map file on a microSD. Do you want to create storage space in the internal memory of the C265 by moving the map file off the device onto the microSD, or do you want to simply use the map file in another device? The instructions would be (could be) different. I can not guess.

In that case, on the microSD, create a folder with the name Garmin. Copy the file gmapique.img into this folder. Change the file name from gmapique.img to gmapsupp.img. Unlock the file gmapsupp.img using [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Place the microSD into the nüvi 1455 and the map should automatically be loaded when switching on the device.

The only reason that your Asian 1455[?] displays the JCV file from the China C265 at all is there's at least partial compatibility. If it was a US/EU firmware 14xx it would crash and reboot on encountering the 'Asian-style' JCV while navigating for real or in simulation. You have only two possible practical solutions which is to either find a 1xxx compatible JCV file for your map or try patching the C265 file with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. If not, use it like it is and be content that it even shows at all.

You're stuck with it then short of massive 'under-the-hood' adjustment to images contained in the JCV file by someone with extensive coding experience and in-depth knowledge of Garmin's JCV file structure. As i said, just be content it shows at all in the other unit which probably cannot properly display the extra layer required to show the road names.
