Default new guy with a question

I have a Garmin etrex legend that mainly gets used for hunting. The only thing I don't like about it is when you are navigating to a waypoint, it will not tell you which way to go unless you are moving. What model in this price range has a built in compass that will point me in the right direction whether I am ml oving or not?

All you need is Electronic compass in device.

You can filter devices with this component:

eTrex® Touch 25 is the cheapest but it have a less rugged sensor screen.

eTrex® 30x is compact and it have the control buttons what is similar for your device.
GPSMAP® 64s is bigger but it have front-end control buttons.

All of it have the readable color screen and they support satellite images if you need in that. All of they have the modern built-in 3-axis tilt-compensated electronic compass that shows your heading even when you’re standing still, and you don’t have to hold it level to get an easy-to-understand display of your heading.

Love your wife? Buy yourself a GPS for answering to her favorite question: "Dear, where are you?".
