Default Nuvi 3790 multiply the routes

    Hi Guys,

I got a Nuvi 3790LM bought in USA in 2012, that is working well, but when I create a route, or some routes, it multiplies the routes until finish the limit.
Strange is that if i delete one, it deletes all of that.
I have tried to reset, and it never delete the favorites, I have to delete the gpx folder to have all the favorites deleted.

    Could you help me?

    Thanks

If you would like to delete multiple favorites from the device at one time:

    Touch Where To?
    Touch Favorites or Saved
Touch menu button (three lines) in the upper left corner
Touch Delete Favorites or Delete Saved Places
Touch the location(s) you would like to delete
Touch Select All if you would like to delete all saved favorites
Touch Delete once the desired locations are selected
    Touch Yes
Repeat the above steps as needed.

The selected favorites will be deleted.

    Please check folder
    .System\Trips\
    Your routes must be there.

Yes, there are just the original routes, not the copies.

My question is: Why it is multiplying the routes until full the memory?

I make 5 routes, apear 50. 10 copies of each

Interesting, can you copy those duplicate routes on PC and see if they are exactly the same?

    Hi Osiris4isis,
The problem is that the multiplicated routes just appear at the GPS. If I connect the gps into PC it appear just the original routes at the TRIP folder. The multiplicated routes do not appear there.
In the Basecamp as well, it do not apear.

    Crazy, isn't it?

    Thanks Catymag,
I cleared the nonvol and it still showing the problem.
    The Firmware is 5.0. Last.
One more info. When i do a master reset, it does not clear the user data. It just clear, if i delete the GPX folder before the master reset.

Clearing nonvol should clear all user's data and your nuvi would be like a new device starting asking you to choose your locale.
If this doesn't happen you may try to downgrade to an earlier firmware, this should work like a drastic non vol cleanup.
