Default Astro 320 sd card unreadable in Mac Yosemite

Hi All; Thanks for looking! I had to do a clean install on my Mac (forgetting to backup my info in BaseCamp) and downloaded all new Garmin BaseCamp. Now any SD card i insert in my Astro 320 is not recognised. I cannot repair, fix, erase or format in Disk Utility. This might not be the way to approach reading micro SD cards in my device, but I know no better, despite spending many hours reading through the fantastic wealth of knowledge on this site.

I cannot find any Mac specific downloads apart from gimgunlock, although this could be the only tool I may need when I can find the microSD on my desktop. Are the other apps GMapTool, JetMouse etc available for Macs? ciao squerry

ps: If catymag reads this, could you check the solved: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] because I can't make it work on my Mac. Thank you

    Hi,
try to use this utility to format the sd to Fat 32:
    Code:

Yes, as I know gimgunlock is the only .img unlocker for Mac.
GMapTool Mac version is available for Mac.

For Updater.exe, sorry you need a Windows machine or Virtual Windows.

    Hi catymag
thank you so much i have these onboard now together with JaVaWa Device Manager. I have updated my Astro320 to ver 3.40, see the above link. But my new installation of BaseCamp still does not see the TopoSpain that it did before in the device storage. Somehow BaseCamp seems to have put it in the trash! See the screenshot here:

I can still see the map on the device. How do I move it, or do I start again?
