I suppose It is possible that there was some sort of electrical interference causing the problem, may be power lines near the dogs field ?
Have you tried changing the collar ID number to a higher number? Are your 3 collars ID's close to each other? What are your 3 collars ID's set at now? Changing the collar ID sometimes seems to fix the problem.

    @sofronij

you need at least 3.7 FW to use TT15 and alpha 100. but 3.7 FW disables dogtracking...

@lau31 mentions f***ing 3.70 FW.... I can believe that crude true!

Changes made from version 3.20 to 3.70:
Added support for T 5 and TT 15 dog devices.

3.10 only work for him and me....

I think you're missing fact that the firmware [unit software] is the same for US and EU devices and the importance of this changelog:
Changes made from version 3.20 to 3.70:

Added support for T 5 and TT 15 dog devices.
Added Emergency Calling feature between Alphas
Added the ability to control a VIRB through a T5 or TT15 within tracking distance. The VIRB must be near the T5 or TT15 and have Remote turned on and set to 'Main VIRB' in its settings (Main Menu > Setup > Remote). To use the feature on Alpha 100, go to Dog List > select a dog > Show Info > Menu > VIRB Control.
Fixed potential issues with stale tracking data if dog device is out of tracking range.
Fixed dog arrow orientation when map is in track up mode.

Changes made from version 3.10 to 3.20:

Disabled dog tracking when used in countries for which the radio frequencies are not authorized.
Fixed distance issue in dog track review.
    Improvements to map drawing speed.
Fixed issue retrieving Public Land Survey System data from certain TOPO US 24K maps.

In essence, if you downgrade to v3.10 you can illegally use the earlier dog collars with US frequency in EU but not the latest TT5 & TT15 US frequency collars. From V3.70 onwards, those latest collars will work but only on authorised EU frequencies in EU.

Logical answer, FW 3.70 should be same for all Alpha, I not see device, my argument is based on a friend's who owns Alpha 100 EU with working TT15 and not disable radio. I see device maybe tomorrow.
Many guys illegally use the earlier dog collars with US frequencies in EU. Alpha 100 EU & TT15 working on new frequencies(in this area),
but can not say more until I see and connect on PC Alpha EU, after that, information should be complete.

I got Alpha 100 and TT15 of my friend. Affirmed, FW 3.70 and radio frequencies not disabled.
Alpha 100 and TT15, on WebUpdater registers, Alpha100_EU and TT15_EU, obviously Garmin change frequencies on both device.
Purchased and working in Croatia. Few months before in Croatia radio not work on higher FW 3.10.
Same questions, it's posible make something with Alpha 100 US and TT15 US, FW is back on 3.10, radio not disabled, Alpha accept TT15 collar but after few minutes, on dog status signal working alternately, few second work after that beeeeep(lost communication), again work few sec. and again lost comm. ...

I don't see any point in comparing your friend's EU Alpha unit to your US Alpha unit. The Alpha 100 itself is a receiver only and the hardware is the same world wide. It's the collars that broadcast on certain frequencies, and depending on where the unit is located the V3.20 and later firmware block the unit from receiving the frequencies broadcast from any US collars be they be the original TT10 or any TT prefix models [i.e. 151.820 MHz, 151.880 MHz, 151.940 MHz, 154.570 MHz & 154.600 MHz]. In other words you'll have exactly the same problem pairing your US collars to your fiend's EU Alpha as you have, just as you should be able to successfully pair your fiend's EU collars to your US unit. Astro and any US TT collars will work perfectly together when used in North America running V3.70 of course.
    Code:

What you are wanting is for someone to modify the firmware of the Alpha so that it will accept pairings with US collars including the later TT5/15, i think. Modified to both (i) receive the transmission US frequencies in EU; and (ii) to accept pairing with TT5 and TT15 as well as TT10. That's already been done and is offered for sale in RU for both Astro and Alpha, see here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] [posts #82-84]. But it's still illegal, and more so than using US TT10 with v3.10 and earlier fw in EU but on a different level because reverse-engineering and modifying firmware is a breach of the users' licensing agreement with Garmin also.
