The 2xx9 series devices require the maps to have a digital signature.
Even some 3rd party original maps won't work with 2xx9 devices because of that.
For me non of the Regio and Fendingas maps i have bought work at the moment.
Fendingas responded and said that they have to create new maps with MPC v8.00 or later for them to work with the new devices.

    2xx9 devices have improved checks
Maps created by MPC with invalid license don't work.
NT maps must necessarily contain a valid digital signature.

Frustrating this problem. If I buy a Map like a swedish Topo map and change it with a .typ file, is it going to work in my Edge 1000?

    I'm using the build here:
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
I'm assuming this includes the SigPatch. All I did was drag&drop the IMG over the exe file. I've verified that the mapset (CNNANT version 15.30) is unlocked using GMapTool, but the 64ST (v3.40) reports that the map cannot be verified contact vendor.

Does that version include the sigpatch?

You need to have V3.40 or earlier on a nuvi 65/66. See this post #367: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. To rollback firmware see here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
