It should be noted that some of the SVGs in this file differentiate oneself from others, for example: Picture 865, 866, 872, 941, 943 and 945.
Night backgrounds of these pictures are placed in the lowest layer of SVG, but my device still shows only day background, see the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Thank you so much! Most likely only Asian firmwares support this feature to date.

I've actually suspected that myself and am about to convert the 765 to TWN or SG fw [again] to try that. Just checked the route to Vaderstad exit107 on the E4 using a 2455, but get the daylight view in night mode, time is ~00:07 manual setting. About to try a 2460 but it's pretty much a foregone conclusion I think. I'll report again tomorrow after checking with the 765 running Asian fw.

No surprise that an AU 2460 also only shows the daytime views on E4 as does AU 765. What's really disappointing is that a US 765 converted to SG/MY fw also refuses to show the night views. Sorry to report totally negative results. It begs the question why the heck night views are still included in the current full-screen AU D2867100A.JCV? Maybe just an oversight that they haven't removed them as in the current EUU 2014.40 map's D3048140A.JCV?

Many thanks for the additional tests.

Seems to me that it's a new file: SVGs in this file have a new structure with new IDs.
Did Sensis produce such files before?

Sensible comment above. Unfortunately i don't have any earlier version of the current D2867100A nor can i find a dl for any, so i can't compare. Garmin has the skids under Sensis though, so it seems unlikely that a new feature is being added.... but who knows? [Garmin is Garmin after all ].

    That's the genuine article!
Why don't they create all JCV files on prescription of Indian yogis? For example, see the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
This Indian JCV contains two SVGs (day and night) for each junction, instead of two backgrounds in a single SVG.
My nuvi 3490 supports such a type of JCV properly, see the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
