Default Backing up Custom Avoidances Nuvi 3490

I use 43 Custom Avoidances in my 3490.

Does anyone know where the custom avoidances are stored in the nuvi ?
Te problem is that every time I do hard reset they are gone and I need to code them manually. Takes about an hour !

I would like to be able to save the information to restore after hard-reset !

    any ideas ?

Do you look in sqlite folder?
Maybe if you create backup before hard reset you can then compare what is new.

I don't use custom avoidances so i can't help you with this

For speed corection, you can open it with this tool:

I looked in Sqlite but I did not find them in there.

Probably Advanced Detour and Custom Avoidances is hard linked with TrafficTrends data - pre.db

???CREATE VIRTUAL TABLE history_rtree USING RTREE( _id INTEGER PRIMARY KEY, lat_min INTEGER NOT NULL, lat_max INTEGER NOT NULL, lon_min INTEGER NOT NULL, lon_max INTEGER NOT NULL, start_min_tod INTEGER NOT NULL, start_max_tod INTEGER NOT NULL???

But this file in contradiction with speed correction is only cashable.
Try search in Unicode for your names. I do not sure what coordinates is the same as for your points because it could be tied to SSID grid. So I am always have problem with restore of trips DB since the original names is lost...

I checked on Nuvi 2595 - no trace for Advanced Detour and Custom Avoidances in any file...
Only NV 41 region is keep this data. All hope to Kunix if he would parse and find way to restore data from its.

@Giomen You are correct "as usual"! Custom Avoidances live in the Infamous Region 41

    I backed up region 41
Hard reset (custom Avoidances and Favourites disapeared)
    Restored Region 41
Custom Avoidances and Favourites returned as before.

Now I made a "clean" region 41 with only custom avoidances to restore after hard reset.

Tutorials with picture for imbeciles, please...

And the main problem for Russia. We have a obsolete road segment on map. It is very interesting to clone this segment by Custom Avoidances for any device!!!

To make a "clean" region 41 with custom avoidances.
Hard Reset your Nuvi "do not restore favourites, etc, etc, do not navigate"
    Create Custom Avoidances
    Backup region 41
You cannot use this region 41 on another Nuvi.

Seems clear as crystal to me. The unit is reset, and then the only and immediate activity is the creation of Custom Avoidances before backing up rgn41.
    Thanks for the tip Dasil.
