Ugh huh. Before Google I was perfectly happy with Dejanews. A lot less ads and user data collecting. Call me old school. LOL!

    Hello johno,

Welcome to the GPS Power, aka the Unofficial Garmin Support network. Here is where we specialise in solving all the nasty problems likely to make Official Garmin Support ignore you or hang up. We will never do that. Unless you're rude to us. Or if you don't really appreciate us. Or if we don't like the cut of your jib. Or we dislike that you're from Steak 'n' kidney.

So just tell us the problem that couldn't be solved by Garmin. If we can't solve it, well, quite frankly, it probably can't be solved. If you haven't lost your sense of humour along with your faith in Garmin just spit it out mate, 'cos we're not all as useless as i might seem.

    Garmin..
Why does not Garmin Quickdraw use shorelines when mapping bottom structures? Would turn quickdraw to barely useful to simply amazing!
Why not implement offset between sonar and gps antenna on all sonar / gps combos?
Why not make it EASY to put in your own smaller maps inte gps?
Why not make it easy to import (many) coordinates into handheld units? thats kind of the point of using one..
And ok, I know Garmin is "made in usa" but why only supporting IPhone/Ipad? they're made in china anyway :P Most people uses Android nowadays.
Could go on forever on a list of things that should be implemented many many years ago.. wake up Garmin.

Default TYP files for marine devices

Why do Garmin marine devices still not support user defined types (TYP files)???

Symbols like no-wake, speed-limit, no-anchoring still cannot be rendered and are all just displayed as an information (i) icon.
