'Running slow', meaning slow to do what exactly? First-Aid for any unusual behaviour is to hard reset the unit and also update fw if it's not the latest.

Have you hard reset as i suggested? If that doesn't fix it, what did you do just before this happened? i.e. have you updated a map or loaded a new voice etc?

Can you access the unit as a usb drive in Mass Storage Mode? If so, remove the map or rename the extension of the CN *.img file to something else, such as .igm. Then see if it boots normally. If you added any other files with the map update, such as JCV you may have to remove or rename them too, but start with the map. Back up any removed files of course. If you can't access the unit in mass storage mode, then you need a fw cure. See [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
