Don't leave your nuvi in car when you go in Bar or shop, always remove it from car.

So strongly recommended fill a file system with 00 or random data and then format a device if thieves or you wife have serious intentions

By that reason 3.5 inch device is more popular for skilled tourist fundamentally...

So when you get a 2797 you're going to need really big pockets (or a 'man-bag'!).

I was joking, but only partly. I have a couple of 5" units (52 & 3590) but rarely use them in the car because even they are awkward to fit comfortably in a pocket. Agree with you, 4.3" is best for pockets. My serious point is that a lot of 7" navigators will be left in cars I think. Or a lot of manbags will be bought .

Nuvi can be stolen not only from a car, but also from your pocket, bag etc.

OK! Do not disable bluetooth in the crush or crowded places! If you feel that you pocket or bag becomes easier for one navi you must immediately ask your companion to call to you. In most case a thief throw off device which is beginning ringing. If no - you must use a 0.33 dl tin with drink and hope for your sharp eye
