Please, anyone could help me choose a new device that is best price/value , my old gps system is a nuvi 260w and needs to retire.
Basicaly i need a gps with fast connection, and routing.
Thanks.
They are all fast and they basically all route the same way. The answer to your question is VERYsubjective.
If you are looking for a basic unit that is a good value take a look at the 40/40LM (4.3" screens) or 50/50LM (5" screens).
They are both basic models, inexpensive and better than your 260w, neither of these models has bluetooth ogf that's an issue.
If you want bluetooth you need to step up to the 1xxx series (also pretty inexpensive and have a lot of features).
A 1390 (4.3") and 1490 (5") are pretty decently featured and have bluetooth. Both models include a traffic receiver with FREE traffic and are available with optional "Lifetime Map Updates".
The only issue with these entry level machines is the 2 gig internal memory limit (maps keep getting larger) but that is easily solved with an inexpensive 4g or 8g SD/Micro-SD.
Other than the above, there are a load of Nuvi models and I'd say the "best one" for you is the cheapest one that has all the features you are looking for. You can compare models on the Garmin site.
Garmin's prices really vary depending on their features so i am wondering which model is the best buy for my buck without going broke getting one.
Any suggestions?
Thanks a bunch!
