Default Problem with waypoints disappearing when using Bluechart G2

Hi - I have an Oregon 450 and whenever I use the Bluechart G2 map (California/unlocked) I experience a problem with my waypoints not consistently being shown on the map. For example, when I first go to the map, sometimes waypoints in the displayed area will be shown and sometimes they won't. This doesn't seem to have anything to do with any of the settings but appears to be a glitch because if I exit the map and then go back into the map without changing anything, sometimes waypoints that were visible moments before are gone or vice versa. Even if the waypoints do appear on the displayed portion of the map, if I zoom in or out (it doesn't matter which), more often than not the waypoints will disappear. The same applies if I try to pan/scroll to any other area of the map, and waypoints in an area that I pan to, more often than not, will not appear and if I go back to my original area, waypoints that were displayed there moments before are no longer displayed.

All of my waypoints do appear in the waypoint manager, and I can navigate to them and view each one individually on the map by going through the waypoint manager, but I can't get them all to reliably appear at the same time (or stay visible) on the map.

Finally, this appears to only be a problem when I'm using the Bluechart G2 map. If I disable that and enable any of my other maps, I don't have this problem and all waypoints are displayed consistently and correctly.

Any thoughts on what might causing these problems? Corrupt map perhaps?

Back up personal data, turn off the Oregon, press and hold the upper left corner of the screen and power the unit on. You will be asked if you want to reset user data. Answer "Yes"

I had actually tried the new vision chart first and while I didn't have the waypoints issue, I did have a completely different problem with the satellite imagery not displaying properly. According to the Garmin Oregon product page, only the G2 charts are compatible with the Oregon, not the G2 Vision charts, so I just assumed that was why I was having problems with the satellite imagery and that's why I switched to the plan G2 chart (I would have preferred to have just disabled the sat imagery on the G2 Vision chart, but sadly that's not an option either in the chart or for the Oregon as far as I know).

I haven't tried doing a hard reset yet but will. Thanks.

Tried hard reset and still the same problem. Also just tried the G2 Vision map again and I was mistaken - waypoints don't display properly using that map either. They do display properly, however, using both the City Navigator and the 24k Topo maps, so it seems to be a Bluechart issue. Any other thoughts/suggestions?
