    Is it the same firmware? Maybe you may try to upload it here as catymag was asking some time ago.

    Without a decrypter those maps will be of no use. It has to be decrypted first.

    Both of you should re-read the thread and stop badgering catymag. The map is heavily encrypted and cannot be decrypted off the unit at present. The unit requires specific 'non-standard' fw which decrypts the map 'on the fly'. It's all there in the thread.

    Strange policy, did Garmin decided that? or let local partner to decide about this draconic security? Would be interesting to know if this map sells, taking into account City Navigator Europe has now full RO coverage.

    Now when CN 2013.20 have full coverage of RO this R.O.A.D. map will go down and nobody will buy it becouse in CN RO map work fast but road stuck every 2 min.

    But may be in a future all map will be unlockable like RoAD.
