    Default GMapTool Problems

    I have downloaded a couple .img files and used GMapTool to split to install in Basecamp / Homeport. BlueChart G2 V13.50 only shows 3 boxes in Homeport. Almost the whole map is missing. Here is the results of GMapTool.

    String coding: 6 bits
    POI info sorting
    Layer >>>>>>0<<<<<< generation
    Elements to process -->1

    Processed -->1
    Successfully imported: 1 not imported: 0
    Elements to process -->244

    Processed -->241

    Filtered -->3
    Successfully imported: 241 not imported: 0
    Maximum error: 17675.1 meter
    Mean error: 73.0376 meter
    Elements to process -->244
    Only background

    Processed -->3

    Filtered -->241
    Successfully imported: 3 not imported: 0
    2 regions to import... done

    Size optimization in progress
    Biggest internal file: 3758
    Detected : Storage GPS
    Available memory : 2 GB
    Max number of maps: 99999
    Final map size : 11 kB

    Maps uploaded!
    C:/Garmin/BlueChart G2/mapset.img is created.
    Done!
    File :C:/Garmin/BlueChart G2/mapset.img is ready to use
    Execution time: 0.62

    Is there something im doing wrong in the process?

    Thanks,
    Robert

    Bluecharts are made to be displayed in Homeport,no need GmapTool, copy it in an sd in a Garmin folder and plug it in your pc.
    Gmaptool can be used to see BCs in Mapsource, but they will loose many functionalities, the only reason to do it can be the option of map printing.
