Default Problem to view map in Mapsource

    Hi,

I got me a Topo Premium map that is unlocked.
I have created a vitual drive and placed the *.IMG fil in a folder there.
Basecamp have located the virtual disk and I can view the map there, but not in Mapsource.
Have been searching and going back an forth on this huge forum, but it just seems that I can't get anywhere.

Is there anything special I need to do for the map to show up in Mapsource?
Sorry if there is a obvious solution for this.

    Cheers

Mapsource has been discontinued and it doesnt get updates, it's better to see this kind of maps in Basecamp that originally has been made for Topos.
To get it in MS, but I donnow how it will be displayed ,read

Ah, I see. I thought Mapsource was the program that everybody used, but so it is Basecamp that is best?
I also have some old Topo maps that I got on a CD that contains .exe files to install the maps.
    1. folder/.exe file for each map.
Is there no possibility to view these maps without having to install the maps?

Edit: Found a solution to my last question: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

If you have the MS installers no, you must install and create the .img , you can find newer versions here
