Same like u did above except that you need pre-boot mode.
I'd suggest that you read a little bit in this forum, all steps very detailed explained.
Btw. you lose the ability to display Chinese characters and probably also the Chinese keyboard.

You are right, 765 China/Taiwan support 1/2 size JCV, and USA/EU could not.

For the splite JCV feature, many 765 change US/EU to TWN, and they all met the problem that the JCV picture could not be displayed properly in spilit window.

So I will stille use the CHN firmware.
