    Default Transfer Maps

Hi all, can someone help me I have a StreetPilot c340 which came preloaded with City Navigator Europe NT+ v8 as this is old, a friend gave me an unlocked version of Navigator Europe NT 2011.40 which I loaded on to a 8GB card, this worked fine in the device but it is slow to calculate a route. Now I would like to transfer the this map from my device in to MapSource v16.16.3 or BaseCamp In MS I try to make a map transfer from the device to MS and I get this message, after it tells me it has uploaded the file successfully (Some maps could not be opened because the following MapSource products are not installed: City Navigator Europe NT 2011.40) The files on the card are as follows D2331040A.G2S GMAP3D gmapsupp GMAPSUPP.UNL this last file is a file I created using the keygen to produce a key.
    I would appreciate any help.

The .img is to copy in gps device, you cant see it in Mapsource. To have the map in Mapsource you need the Mapsource installation or the gmap folder. You can see it in Basecamp- Attach your device usb to your pc and you'll have it in Basecamp.

Thanks for coming back so quick, Why are maps so complicated?
OK when I open BaseCamp with my device connected BC see my device but I can`t see the map only the global one. Turning to MS I'm not quite sure what you me by I must have the MS installation, I have MS installed and I have the install file, but can't find this gmap folder can I just create one, and where should I put it. I have read the two tutorials but must admit I'm getting a bit lost with it all.
Sorry to be such a pain.

Dont you have your device listed in your Basecamp library? And the map listed there?
Right click it / Show map and then zoom in.
If you have the installer run it and you'll have the map in Mapsource and read the thread I linked above about tips , all the instructions are there
