Default Nuvi 3760T corrupt after 4.60 firmware update

Plugged my 3760T into the computer in order to update the latest maps. WebUpdater also informed me that a new firmware 4.6 was available. Installed it. When done I removed the cable and turned the device on. Powers on and says something like "an update has been installed, click OK to reboot". I do so and when it comes back up all icons are missing. The UI is text-only.

I tried re-installing 3.60 with webupdater as well as doing a "reset all settings". But nothing helps. Any ideas?

you can try to reverse back to old sw if hard reset doesnt help.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
and may be retry doing before sw update then in another updating session the estensions (txts etc)

Thanks. Just did what you suggested. Managed to solve it by first downgrading to 4.50, then upgrade again to 4.60.
Must have been something going wrong in the upgrade process.
