    Default GPSMap 620/640

Anyone still have these ?? :-)
I have been trying to figure out mapset problems in marine mode. With the latest firmware version (3.6) marine mode should finally support topo maps in addition to marine maps. It seems so with some limitations. I have successfully tried two different topos (Finland topo Pro (V2), and Topo Russia 6.08, but not in combined mapset. Also topos installed only in SD-cards work. ( If the map is put to internal memory, not working). If you send a combined mapset ( areas from Finland and from Russia) only one country can be seen on display. ( The same mapset works fine in automotive mode ). Has anyone else figured out the same, or is there some tricks to make a workout ??? ( both of my maps were originally .IMG files, and I have created MapSource versions with GmapTool/GPSMapper.

It is only declaration about "the latest firmware version (3.6) marine mode should finally support topo maps in addition to marine maps". Not at all but device only read topo maps. Earlier topo maps did not show in marine mode at all. Now we can see it.
No TYP files support (forest area cover all detail under it), no switching between maps as you wrote!!!
