Lane Assist and Junction View did not appear in units until 2009 or 2010, most likely when the maps changed over to NT. Older GPS receivers to the best of my knowledge cannot be retrofitted to use these new features. The firmware would have to be rewritten to support the added functions, and more practically, there are none of your unit or a similar unit in the world having Lane Assist and Junction View included.
Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but it's time for a new unit I believe.

How to modify my old NUVI 310 for junction view
Has anyone known how to modify NUVI 310 for junction view ?
Such as install or upgrade firmware (by use firmware of another model that has a junction view feature) or no way to do it ,I've to buy a new model for junction view.
