Default 1490T Reboots on its own

Hi, I purchased a rebuilt 1490T a few months back and during a rescent trip to CA this unit has rebooted 4 times while navigating, all on its own. It also rebooted a couple more times during another 3 day trip. To all you Garmin owners .. is this number of reboots unusual or should I attempt to get a warranty replacement. I am beggining to suspect that perhaps the reboot issue is the reason this unit was returned in the first place. Thanks to all

You have to navigate to get to the good.

Firmware should be the last one.
But in the fact ., the last firmware won't insure you get no problem.
For example., Thai 3770 with lastest firmware swv2.10 --> restart while navigate.
ESRI(Garmin dealer in Thailand) will release new firmware to fix it.

That is for 37xx., but I've never heard about restarting of 1xxx before.

I knew about shutdowns problems with old sw when 1490 temporarly looses satellite reception , but it shouldnt have this issue with the new sw. Try an hard reset, sometimes it corrects these kind of problems- If it wont , contact Garmin support.

Hi, Performed a hard reset, will have to wait and see if it happens again, it's very intermittent so it might take a while to reoccur.
    Thanks to all
