    Default Garmin CityXplorer maps

    Hi

to anyone experiended with the City Navigator and CityXplorer garmin maps. Is there much difference between them ?

Because some people say there is not much difference , so there is not point getting the CityXplorer maps if you have the CN Europe.

    Thanks.

City Explorer Maps are mainly for pedestrian mode and only covers cities.
City Navigator is for navigating through a country or continent what is not possible with City Explorer Maps

cityXplorer use exactly the same map as City Navigator but it has additional data for public transport. If your GPS doesn't support enhanced pedestrian mode, there won't be any difference at the area covered by both maps.
    Thanks, Kanopus

    Hi Kanopus,

Ok thanks, mine is a Etrex Vista HCX i got to go hiking , so if that is the case, won´t be any difference with my device.
