probably CNE in some small parts on the border overlaps ROAD, this probably is the problem.
I created a combined map using patched MapSource 6.16.3, from City Navigator Europe NT 2011.40 and RO.A.D. 2008 v3.02 (a NT detailed map of Romania). I kept the size of the map at 2025 segment limit, <2GB. For the the new map, i selected the entire map of Romania from RO.A.D. 2008 and from City Navigator Europe i only selected the neighbouring countries, to avoid overlapping the maps.
City Navigator Europe NT 2011.40 MAP ID (FID) = 2365
RO.A.D. 2008 v3.02 MAP ID (FID) = 1189
If i generate a route in GMPC v50070g that is going outside Romania's border (shorter than 2500km and not over water), even the created route is generated properly, without errors, and it appears highlighted on the map, when i start route simulation mode the vehicle icon begins to move on the road, but soon jumps at the start of the route again.
It appears that GMPC does not know in what direction it needs to go, and after a couple of meters the vehicle icon jumps again at the beginning of the route, turning in circle around itself a couple of times like it is unsure in what direction it needs to be going.
Is there a known problem when combining detailed Garmin maps with a more general map like city navigator or did i do something wrong when i created the map?
Are there compatibility issues between those two maps, since one is pretty old (last updated in 2009) and one is the newest, from 2011?
Thanks!

You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
Maps should be compatible to work correctly together. Both maps have to have border nodes in the same position. You should check if Romania ROAD claims compatibility with City Navigator Europe.
