    Default Garmin Asus A10/M10 map support and limits

    I'm considering to buy a10 or m10 but still I haven't figured out which suites better for my needs. Is there any difference in Garmin map support and pedestrian support?

    Does Asus Garmin a10 and m10 support multiple maps in one unit? Like City navigator Europe 2011 + local country navigator + 2 topos - Norway and Finland + Cityxplorer Oslo (with pedestrian support)?

    Thanks!

    Default Asus Garmin Nuvifone a10 or m10 multiple map support

    Does Asus Garmin Nuvifone a10 or m10 accepts multiple maps from SD card? Like one topo + city navigator + Cityxplorer? Any differences between a10 and m10 according to multimap support?

    I don't know why this question was deleted, therefore I ask once again. If someone intends to delete it, please also send a note, why. Thank you!

    I'm using a nuvifone A50 and run multiple maps successfully, including the CityXplorer maps for 37xx (with all features working) from the thread [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]... I simply created a folder ./storage/MAP/ on the phone itself (plenty of room as it has 4gig) and used unlocked maps renamed to anything I liked... I suspect that the A10 would have the same capabilities.

    Default M10 :: with anyname.img + anyname.jcv

    You can put the maps within
    Sd card\map\anyname.img

    And JCV file within
    Sd card\map\jcv\anyname.jcv

    Like 37xx. (but you can use jcv file in sd card for M10 )

    I received a PM about how to choose maps on an A50 and thought I would share it here just in case anyone else might find it useful...

    To select or deselect maps on an A50 the process is: menu button--> navigation--> menu button again--> map info--> then check/uncheck the listed maps... I have my unlocked maps in ./storage/MAP folder on the phone itself.
