Default Nuvi 3790T "Loading Maps..." problem

    Hi All!
I only hope that somebody can help me with my problem described below.
    I have GarminNuvi 3790T ( preinstalled City NavogatorEurope 2011.20 )
    1) I added some new POI to the device ( not to SD card)
    2) I decided to update my 3790T to the latest software version (3.90). I was already on 3.60 and have never had any issues with updating the firmware on any of my previous Garmins. I connected via webupdater, it found the update and downloaded it. Then I disconnected my 3790T and restarted it manually because it didnot restarted automatically. It found the software and began to update it and then it just hung and sat there. I let it sit for a while with just "LOADING MAPS..." on the screen. I then rebooted the 3790T (by holding down the power button) and now when it comes up it says this: "Loadind Maps..." and hangs. My windows 7 PC does not see it now. When I flashed it with Updater to CURE software 2.50. I received this message on screen : --- GIR Version Mismatch --- GIR Checksums: 0x119a010 , next line: 0xe79e5f0 System Expected Checksums: 0x53008d0 Update your unit software by visiting [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
But with this software myGarmin Nuvi 3790T is visible by PC ( as mass storage device)
I deleted all IMG, gpx, gpi and then flashed it with normal software 2.50 ( not CURE) and the same screen appears : "LOADING MAPS" and hangs...
Any ideas on how I can possibly fix this on my own? Thanks a lot !
    Best regards

Do you mean I have to delete gupdate.gcd from folder .System and then to flash again?

Where did you get that "cure" ?
Try this I did it now
    garmin Nuvi 37xx service fw.250 rgn.rar (31,9 MB)
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Unpack this rar and start the device in the pre-boot mode.
    Attach the device usb.
Run updater (cure) and select Nuvi.
Click always ok at every message
When LOADER appears on your Nuvi wait until unit flashed.
After flashing with cure your Nuvi restarts and should boot.
Then in storage mode ,delete every POIs , img , tracks, .vpm, .gpx ,.GCD etc
reflash with original 2.50 .rgn ,then upgrade
    download here

    copy it in .System folder
Safely unplug from pc and restart, wait till it finished to load the firmware , dont shutdown it, it needs some minutes.

My friend's Nuvi 3790 T SG/MY also got the same problem. He had upgrade the FW from 2.30 to 2.50 SG/MY and copy the Thai Keyboard into the device and it stop at " Loading Maps". I think he might got the wrong version of Keyboard.
Now the problem is that the computer could detect the device by USB. Does anyone got the cure or service firmware for Nuvi 3790T SG/MY in order to access to USB and delete the file.

    Please help. Thank you.

Download new firmware from Garmin again.
Placed it in sd card and reboot.
Setup will re-run. Hold power button for 10 secs and above.
Hope it works for your friend.
I think the latest version is 3.10
