    Angry Garmin 37XXT Too slow!

I don't know for you guys, but I am very mad at the speed of response for my new garmin. Sometimes it disturbs even the navigation and the speech.
I am not even using the 3D option, cause then it is INDEED very slow!

Is this occurring with you guys also??

Which fw. are you using ? US one or others ? Which map ? Slowness in rendering the map, or what ?
May be you should upgrade fw and then hard reset it,deleting user data too, no slowness problems in my 3790-

Us Fw (last version)... Europe Map from Garmin and Brazilian bundle from here...
Slowness of rendering the map and also when pressing buttons, for instance, when i touch the "where to" I have to wait for at least 1s to have the "bip" and change screen....
When it is talking, "Arriving at " pause for rendering map " destination ".....
    Weird. non??

    Make a master reset
Note: A master reset will erase all waypoints and favorites and will restore your unit to the default factory settings. If you would like to back up your favorites you can find instructions in the link below.

    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
    1. Start with the unit turned OFF and unplugged from power
    2. Power ON the device
    3. When the copyright screen appears press and hold the lower right hand corner of the touchscreen
    4. Remove your finger from the touchscreen when a message appears that says Erase all user data?
    5. Touch YES

The device will now be reset. Follow the on screen prompts then place the device in an area with a clear view of the sky until it acquires satellites.
    or
    1. From the map screen, press the "Speed" field.
    2. From the speedo dial, press/hold compass direction just above the speed for ~7 seconds.
    3. Press "Clear all user data" at the top of the screen

Hmm I think i've solved my prob..
Just removed the Europe map from the SD to the MAP folder on the device..
I think the performance of the reading on the SD is the root cause of my problem...
