Default 765 v4.00 and Garmin Language Guide

Since upgrading firmware to V4, my Garmin Language Guide has not worked. It just beeps when asking it to pronounce words.

I have contacted Garmin but they have a "high case load" and "will prioritise my problem".
    Anybody any ideas please?

    Thanks

    andy

read on another site about this issue

Some folks report that Garmin Language Guide stopped working after upgrading to v4.00, i.e. Nuvi will not pronounce words/phrases anymore; MP3 player is still working though

    I got reply from Garmin:

Thank you for contacting Garmin International.

We are working on releasing another software update for the Nuvi 7X5 series to correct that issue. Please keep checking with the WebUpdater program for another update for your unit.

It was good to know about that, I've updated mine but have not tested Garmin Language Guide yet...
