I assumed you had maintained that order but appreciate confirmation of it, thanks. Regarding the use as you've noted anocdotally, yes i agree that that should be the case. i.e if the device can use the HERE mapset then the traffic should work [that would be all both NT capable and traffic capable devices in that case, not just 2013>]. I'll try it with HERE maps on some older units when i have time. I suspect Garmin's pronouncement below from the page i linked is to do with them having shifting from Whereis to HERE [Navteq] as AUNZ OEM map provider for automotive devices in early 2012 [2013 devices were released in 2012] and presumably HERE traffic only works with HERE maps whereas Suna is not map dependent.
Every data-ready Garmin device since 2013 will be able to tune into the new service.

Code accepted, but it doesn't work. nuvi 3590 claims no traffic signal received for my entire 15 day trip. That's in Zagreb and highway from Zagreb to Rijeka, and whole Istrian peninsula. I think it's safe to assume same would happen in the rest of Croatia.

Is it possible to remove unwanted subscription and then add another one?

There is no need to remove an unwanted subscription because all TMC receivers have a maximum number of subscriptions which can be added. It used to be 15 subs with >GTM25 but more [20?] with later models GTM26> however i think with latest software [GTMxx Traffic Receiver Type 3 software version 3.10] all receivers can have up to 20[?] subs maximum ever added. If the usual Provider info has VenID of '1', you can 'remove' an existing sub by adding a code generated with the same FID, PID, RgnID but VenID of '0' instead of '1'. That seems not to reset the number of subs added though and the problem remains that the sub is not fully 'erased' so that you may still face new additional subs not working if you've exceeded the maximum number of subs added and to be clear that's whether some have been 'removed' or not.

TA20 is NOT a TMC receiver as such, it's a combination power cable and antenna used where the actual traffic receiver is integrated into the navigation device [e.g. nuvi 55/6/7/8, 65/6/7/8 and 2xx7/8/9; zumo 570]. This tutorial is for GTMxx FM Traffic Receivers which have the telltale 'bulge' in the cable with twin 'figure 8' cable leading to the power plug. TA20 looks physically like any other modern Garmin charger-only cable:

I'm unsure if this method will work or can be adapted to the units with the TMC receiver built-in.

So do you mean you've added some successfully with this tutorial's method, or that there were 12 separate EU country subs already on it when purchased?

So that's 13 countries in 10 subscriptions right? i.e. Traffic Master (UK), V-Traffic (FR), TMobilius (BE), Infoblu (IT), NAVTEQ Traffic (DE), Mediamobile Nordic (FI, NO, SE, PL), Radio SI/TrafficNav (SI), TrafficNav (HU), RTL-ACL (LU), and BeMobile (NL). So which of those appeared afterwards and have you been able to confirm they work in actual navigating? Also when you got it was there 4 subs already on it for NA [2 x HD and 2 x FM - US & CAN]? Or did you mean literally only US, if so one or two subs for it?
