Greetings from Finland! I have one stupid question about gmapsupp.unl file. Do I have to put softaware unlock code + map unlock code to this file?? Like 25digitcode - 25digitcode ?? Or just one of those?

I can`t get ID of my SD card so trying to unlock it for my unit (421s).. Thanks!

    bogger2

You can also create unlocked img file with GarminUnlocker.
Just put origin img file into the LockedMap folder, start GarminUnlocker.exe and take your new unlocked
    img file from UnLockedMap folder.

Sorry but I don't know what have you downloaded elsewhere.
If map is ok you can unlock it with :
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
No .unl needed, remove it from sd.
    Path:
    SD/garmin/yourmap.img

on jetmouse keygen v1.5 put either the 10 digit gps unit id number (will be unlocked only in your gps)or the sd serial # (it will be unlocked in any gps you put the sd card
under-select map product --on the bottom ---custom map set---add the maps FID# also called mapid #

click generate a few times on the bottom-all those numbers will unlock the map--copy that 25 digit number into the gmapsupp.unl file --- don't add a enter --just 25 digits on the first line ----
on a sd card create a garmin directory--in that directory copy your gmapsupp.unl file (unlock file) and the gmapsupp.img (g2 map)
When you save the .UNL file in Notepad, be sure you set the "Save as type" to "All Files", not "Text Documents".
Ηi, ie if I understand correctly when I use jetmouse to unlock a map that I use in my own locked card from garmin then actions do the following:
    1. I open jetmouse and enter the UNIT ID in the upper box by clicking on I generate key displays a 25 digit code, I use this code?
    2. while the lower frame I enter my ID card and clicking on the button showing me generate a 25 digit code, I use this code?
    3. If a map I want to unlock in a new memory card, which we will use in various devices other than my own will have to enter the ID of my card and clicking on the generate button shows me a 25 digit code I use it to create a file .unl; correctly?
    4. if you want to unlock a map on a new memory card, which we will use in various devices other than my own will have to enter the ID of my card and clicking on the bottom will ask me to enter the FID or MAPID and then clicking on the generate button shows me a 25 digit code that I use to create a .unl file that this map will unlock my sygkerimeni the memory card in all devices that will use it;

Thank you for your cooperation !!!

This thread is pretty old, this unlocking method doesn't work with charts starting from 17.50 and up to be copied in new plotters and in some new firmware.
To unlock these charts ask for help to Adm.Nelson: sticky thread in this section.
If the chart has FID greater than 2200 won't work too.
Use: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    sent with my phone
