• IN-DIVE CHANGE: Improved behavior of safety stops:
• ** Previously, the safety stop timer started counting down at 15 feet. This has been changed to 20 feet (6m).
• ** Previously, the safety stop timer continued counting down while in the range of 10-20 feet. This has been expanded to 7-23 feet (2-7m)
• ** Previously, the watch would require a return to the start depth (15 feet) to resume a paused safety stop timer. This requirement has been removed.
• ** Previously, if NDL was surpassed while below 35 feet, the watch would cancel the safety stop in favor of normal decompression stops. Now, if the deco commitment is cleared prior to ascending to 23 feet (7m), there will still be a safety stop scheduled for 20 feet (6m).
• ** Previously, the watch showed the 'Safety stop started!' popup every time the safety stop timer resumed counting down. It will now only show the first time.
• IN-DIVE CHANGE: Disabled vibration for Apnea Hunt app.
• Added travel gas setting for Multi-Gas app. If more than one gas is Enabled, you can choose a travel gas. This is the default gas used when starting a multi-gas dive and is indicated by a downward angled arrow on the Multi-Gas precheck. This does not affect other dive apps.
• Added list of gas switches to dive log entries.
• Added ability to turn off surface GPS per dive type. This can be used to save battery when diving indoors, for example. This setting is located at Settings > Activities & Apps > (Dive App) > (Dive App) Settings > GPS.
• Added ability to set Deco PO2 up to 2.00. Please dive within your limits.
• Added support for Rep Counting during Strength and Cardio workouts which can be created on Garmin Connect Web and Garmin Connect Mobile. To enable Rep Counting, ensure that Settings > Activities & Apps > Strength > Rep Counting is enabled. Start the timer to automatically count reps during sets. Press the lap key to rest between sets. You can edit your last set's number of reps and weight during a rest period. Press the lap key to advance to the next set.
• Added support for All-Day Stress. To view the Stress widget, hold the Up key from any widget, and select Add Widget > Stress. You can view your current stress measurement on the widget page. Press the enter key to view a graph of your stress over the last four hours. Press Down to access the Four-Fold Breath relaxation timer.
• Added support for setting up Wi-Fi Networks on device. After syncing with Garmin Express or Garmin Connect Mobile at least once, go to Settings > Wi-FI > Add Network to search for Wi-Fi networks. Select a network. If the network is secure, enter its password to join it.
• Added support for manual calibration of the Barometer. (Settings > Sensors & Accessories > Barometer > Calibrate).
• Added support for Hourly Alerts. (Settings > System > Time > Alerts > Hourly).
• Added support for Connect IQ SDK v2.4.
• Added elliptical, stair, floors climbed, and yoga activities.
• Improved dive planner to explicitly list the descent stage. It will also use the new travel gas setting, if set.
