Reply With QuoteIf BT enabled and your phone connects ok for calls, then most likely your phone doesn't support this feature. It is enabled as part of Bluetooth.
Read somewhere many android based phones lack this feature.

Enable bluetooth safe texting feature in nuvi 2450?
For nuvi that comes with bluetooth phone call feature, how can we enable the bluetooth safe texting feature?
Does anyone know how to do that?
