Are you sure she broke it? Seems there might be a generic problem with at least some of the 34xx screens:

Might be worth sending it to garmin and see if they'll cop it under warranty. If they knock you back, maybe an aftermarket 37xx screen might do, but would seem almost as expensive as paying garmin if they do refuse a warranty claim:

Maybe better to pay garmin another $34.12 to do an x-warrenty repair if the CNET article $140 quote is correct.

@Neil: Thanks for the article. Seem like the author screen cra.ck inside. Mine, i can feel the crac.k from the outside screen. Also, the left side touch senor is malfunction but the right side where the crac.k is turn out to be working find when touching it.. If $34.12 to do an x-warrenty then it's better than paid $100+. Do I need to call Garmin for this x-warrenty? Is that what's it's calling "x-warrenty"?

Ouch! ... They aint gonna do that under warranty, that for sure.

Sorry, you misunderstood me about the x-warranty repair. Maybe it's not a widely used term but around my parts it means a repair that is not covered by warranty i.e. the item has been misused in some way: drowned, run over, chewed by the dog, chucked at the missus etc., or, in your case, dropped by your daughter - don't worry, she'll stop breaking your stuff eventually, get married one day and then just borrow money off you .

The $34.12 i referred to is the difference between the price for the 37xx screen on ebay ($105.88) and the price quoted by Garmin to the guy who wrote the CNET article ($140.00)... get it? BTW i'm not sure that the 34xx uses the same screen as the 37xx anyway, although they are the same hardware i think....?

Yeah, better try to contact with garmin. Maybe they will send you a replacement of this onе (lets say refurbished) on a lower cost than buying a new one. Or maybe try to resell it as parts - the speaker, pcb etc.
