If went to my.garmin.com and tried to update my official maps, I get stuck on a blank page when i click on the dashboard or on the page where it shows which maps should be available to me. It seems to hang when on the page where it says GCP install, suggesting that it is hanging when checking for a the plugin. IE9, Firefox and Chrome all have the same problem.
On another system it works just fine so it isnt garmin's servers that are acting up.
Has anyone seen this problem before?
I disabled the firewall already. Both systems have the same antivirus and firewall. Only 1 of the system works for the map updates. The system that doesnt work I already did a fresh win7 install just a week ago, and the problem persists
something block your browser plugins install, in FF look in Options/Security Settings->untick warn if a site try to install an addon (or something like that, I dont have it in english) in Exception add mygarmin adress

Even Chrome doesnt work with it, so im not sure its' a browser issue. Chrome usualy works with garmin or it doesnt?
I have determined that it is a host file problem. One of my many entries is preventing windows from going to a certain website blocked from the list shown in the host file of windows.
