Loading self made maps to Garmin 76csx

Hi everyone, I am new here and is wondering whether anyone will be kind enough to give me some guidance..

i just recently bought a Garmin 76csx and I am wondering whether I can load self made maps (with the trackpoints I gathered myself) unto the device so that
I can have a immediate glance on which part of land I am in in the Map page of the device..

I know that once you gathered trackpoints, it will automatically show in the Map page but that does not meet my purpose (plus it can be deleted, which I do not want to be possible).

any kind help that can be provided will be greatly appreciated.. thank you.

edited :- ok, i figured how to custom make map using my own trackpoints..
but i only figured out how to upload it to mapsource..

anyone knows how to upload and mange this customs maps in my garmin device itself?
