    Hello,
    Is it possible to use an bluetooth antenna connected to a netbook loaded with Mapsource in order to visualize the current GPS position?
    Thank for your answer.

    Arrow Removed real-time tracking from MapSource > v6.5

    It was possible up to MapSource version 6.5 to show GPS position in MapSource.
    After that Garmin moved the functionality to nRoute instead. It's only reading GPS data from a Garmin GPS with Garmin protocol. With NMEA 0183 GPS data you need to transform that with Franson GPS Gate.

    MapSource Change History

    Changes made from version 6.5 to 6.7:

    * Removed real-time tracking from MapSource. Use nRoute for PC real-time tracking applications.

    @tom1807

    The possibility you're mentioning is already covered at the bottom of post #1. Even with a link to your GMPC thread.

    Thank you all.
    I install GMPC and now I am wondering what model of Bluetooth antenna will be compatible?
    (Horus GPSlim236 is OK? or is there a more recent one?)

    I have a Holux GPSlim236 that works perfectly with GMPC. It works with all Bluetooth or serial GPS that provides a standard NMEA 0183 data stream.
    Just use the JetMouse KG to generate 25-char code for "SW.UNL" file. Otherwise GMPC will only work with Garmin GPS protocol.

    I will now search the net for this model of Bluetooth antenna.
