Default Chinese DVD GPS Pandamoton Dohble Din Win CE GPS setup help, please

    Hi everyone,

Usually I consider myself to be quite handy with computers and electronics but this has really stumped me and I was wondering whether you awesome experts can help me out.

I have a double din Chinese (pandamoto I think) DVD/CD player with Sat Nav. The unit is installed, the gps antenna is installed.

It did not come with the gps software/maps.

I click on the GPS setup and it is looking for a file location on an sdcard.

I bought an sd card with Europe maps from the same seller, but its just not finding them.

I put the microsd card in the computer and it clearly show the folders and files. However when I put it into my sd card slot and go to the gps settings it only shows the folder locations.

I need help please. If you have any suggestions that would be great. Everything else work fine except the gps and I would love to get it solved.

    Thanking you in advance.

    Hello,

The seller must give you the Europe µSD card that works with your GPS hardware.
You bought the Europe mapping his home, it should work !
Otherwise, call the seller how to solve your problem.
Have you read the user manual, there is maybe a manipulation to do ?

The answer is here up in red, I think so really.

Can you make a screenshot from what you see on the Radio when you are in the GPS setup , and one of the content of the sd card.

In case the navigation programm is situated in the internal storage you have to point the Navipath back to the flash.
Look for a similair screen like this

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

In this example it is ResidentFlash-SDMMC but it can also be other names
Then open the flash and look for a folders named like i.e. IGO, Primo, Nav, Navigation ,App

Open these and point to the .exe file
Close the settings menu and, look if it start up.

    Hope it helps

Hi thank you for your quick reply. The GPS program seems to be called Polnav 6.

Here are the pics you asked for:

screenshot This shows the memory card files inside the Polnav6 folder.

20160428 192910 This is the unit.

20160428 193003 This is the setup screen

20160428 193012 When you click on setup

20160428 193055 And when you click on the Polnav 6 folder. As you can see, it does not show all the files.

Thanks for the help so far.

If there is a GPS card slot the card needs to go there. The SD card slot typically looks for media files and will not show .exe files (or other non-media files), which is what the GPS launcher needs. I tried my map card in the SD card slot on my unit and I get exactly what you're describing.

    EDIT
Sorry didn't see the pictures until after I posted, it looks like you have it in the GPS slot. It's acting as if it's in the SD slot. On one unit I had I could point it to either slot (factory setup, if I remember correctly), on another there was no option, the GPS was aimed at the GPS slot. If you can look at those settings that may be configurable. Similar to what Jeanet posted.
