    Cool PE11Error when using MapSetToolit/CGpsMapper

I apologise if there is some other thread that exists for this subject, but I attempted on several occasions to use the search tool, without anything such popping up.

It seems that the web is littered with people using the MapSetToolkit/CGPSMapper combination in order to reverse generate a MapSource compatible mapset from a .img file, ending up with an "Error PE11 Preview Map has to be less detailed than any IMG file in the mapset. Change level definition in the [MAP] section to a less detailed."

    Very little help is forthcoming.

I, as many other have resinstalled the applications (both) and still the problem persists. The general advice seems to be to "lower the map detail level" in cgpsmapper. The problem is that the cgpsmapper application is invoked automatically by MapSetToolkit, leaving one no way of directly adjusting the map level details (I tried tweaking every possible attribute in MapSetToolkit.

    Any advice?

    Default PE11 Error

I attempted to install South Africa Streetmaps 2009 (which I have legitimately purchased along with a Nuvi 760, but with the maps pre-installed on SD Card) to my MapSource.
This failed. (I eventually persuaded the local Garmin (threatening them with misrepresentation as I wanted the Mapsource functionality all along) guys to supply me with a unlock code so that I could install the Mapset to Mapsource). So I was fine with this

But last night, I attempted the same with several other img's, (the very latest for too. I am planning to buy the mapset but I would have liked a taste at the level of detail before I spend money) ....All img's came up with the very same error.

Is there another way of installing a IMG back to MapSource?

    Thanks for your help.
