re previous post, at the end of download Firefox gives:
Patch64.rar Blocked: May contain a virus or spyware.
The file is not on my PC.
Never had this before, my anti-virus is set to leave files alone and notify, so how can I turn Firefox checking off?

davee3 : yes, I know that. Firefox, now, is testing all downloads (about viruses or spywares). But, sometimes (often !) the detection is false.
And the file is blocked without possibility of reaction (nowhere to optimise that).
In that case, I use Internet Explorer and then the file is accepted.
64 bit patch now downloaded and clean across 57 anti-virus tools:
So how does Firefox do its analysis?Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
Would passwords on rars prevent this Firefox download blocking?
The old patcher does no work, do it?
Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?
I have tested v16.0.7.Patch.REPT on the latest version 16.1 (b041015) and patch works on x64, but not on x86
I also installed "daily-version" GM16.1.5 from 10.04.2015 on several windows systems:
1. 64bit Version on Win-8.1: patchable by v16.0.7.Patch.REPT
2. 32bit Version on Win-8.1 an on Win7: patchable by v16.0.7.Patch.REPT
My experience is different from what kenta2 reports.
