Prob parents took me to see it when i wuz 8 or so. Prob fell asleep after the cartoons 'n' newsreel. Not prob, more like 'did fer sure'.

the technology may not yet have reached australia but u can now actually watch movies that are not contemporaneous, that were made in earlier years.

Now let's clear that up for you Pilgrim. A Jackaroo is a motor vee-hicle...

No it's not. It's a made up animal that they put on postcards here to goof on tourists.

What a refreshing fount of completely useless knowledge you are Melvin.

I was trying to educate you two, a hopeless task. Also the guy just told it to me yesterday so I still remember it.

Yes it was a nice video. U got one thing right. 1 out of 10. .100 batting average. Not good.

Messing with it? No one! Stop being Almost Perfectly Paranoid fercrissake. Did you write the above yourself? That's almost entertaining. Are you sure you wrote it?
Yeah. Someone turned it into a whole new thread.

My parole officer helped me write it.

So then in yr learned opinion* what is the best browser and free email and new computer to buy if I buy a new computer and what shall I eat today?

    * buttering the sap up because I want something.

Wow! Really? That's amazing! I did not know that. Does it have a fancy convoluted name? Like 'Retrospective Cultural Magic Lantern Festivitis'. It should have, i like that name.

That's a JACKALOPE you're describing you numnut. And it's not Arizona's right to put them on postcards. Jackalopes cumber freely around the high country of Wyoming, savaging a cowpoke about once a week on average. God only knows why he keeps going back up the range, you'd think he'd stick to the plains.

A JACKAROO is a cowboy. The Isuzu-based General Motors Holden Jackaroo is named after them. The female versions are called JILLAROO and have flared mudguards [fenders] with larger headlights and beef-up rear-ends.

I was trying to educate you two, a hopeless task. Also the guy just told it to me yesterday so I still remember it.
You're such a reliable source of disinformation you should apply to be a counteragent. Hopefully they'll drop you in with the Taliban as a spy. how's your Pashto, or Urdi? But i guess by tomorrow you'll forget to apply anyway dammit.

:sigh: .... Dammit! Where's a 'frustration' icon when you want one?

The sap can read y'know. And that's Lord Sap to you. Despite your lack of respect, i'm delighted to share my immense IT knowledge with you:

Best browser for you is any version of Netscape, preferably V4. Best email client for sure is Sparrow. If you can't find it get MailBird, but only Version 1.

You need a new computer? Amazing coincidence! I've got one superfluous to my requirements. You can have it for only $1.5 million, delivered.

    ENIAC Women 400x263

It comes with it's own shipping container and two very intelligent and enthusiastic programmers.

It's a huge spinout to think that a modern cheap smartphone processor is many times faster and more powerful than the ENIAC. Watch the video below right thru 'cos Jean is a crackup! 'life's too short not to enjoy what you're doing. The other one of course is luck beats brains'. I like modest self-depreciating humour in ppl.

A long-ignored pioneer, she, just like her ENIAC co-lead programmer Betty Holberton and many other women in early computing, went without any public recognition for decades.

The Jackaroo in the States was know as: Isuzu Trooper and Chevrolet Trooper
I had the first model of the Second Generation 1992 LS series. My Son bought it from me when I bought the Troopy "Toyota Personal Carrier" he then did it up the way he liked it and on Australia day of this year 2016 was out on the beach up the coast with M8's and it decided to drop a rod so went up with a trailer and brought it back and it is being stripped of parts and sold off, He bought a Holden Colorado.

Yeah it's something like that. I don't understand it or know how they do it, but somehow they r able to show movies from other years. It has something to do with time travel.

You're such a reliable source of ...information
    Thank u.

What's that in real money, one chicken drumstick? Can your used Eniac add and subtract numbers up to 100?

I like modest self-depreciating humour in ppl.
    Me too.

    I watched the flick. Cool.

O sure. I could plug it into my Jackalope model Stanley Steamer.

    He bought a Holden Colorado.
What that? I've done a ton of camping. I used to go backpacking but now I use the back of my pickup as a camper. I've seen really neat Australian outback campers with 4WD that aren't available here.

Too many new words for Melvin Mags. Keep it simple hey? See how you've confused him with the Colorado mention? He prob'ly thinks if you 'drop a rod' that you drive your T-bucket over a cliff.

We're talking serious moolah here Son. That's two drumsticks, with change [a couple of buffalo wings].

Can your used Eniac add and subtract numbers up to 100?
Peasant! It's not a bleeding centipede. Probably only has 10 each of fingers and toes like us.

Isuzu based like the Jackaroo. 3 Colorado types: 1st Gen is Isuzu D-Max [also Chev D-Max elsewhere]. 2nd Gen is Chev Colorado and GMC Canyon over there also named Chev S10 and Isuzu D-Max in other markets. 'SUV' is related to second generation ute, called Colorado 7 and is the rough equivalent to your second generation Chev Trailblazer. It'll be re-badged 'Trailblazer' here in 2017.

Well I don't know. How am I supposed to know? I'm not a retrospective Cultural Magic Lantern Festivitis technician.

Peasant! It's not a bleeding centipede. Probably only has 10 each of fingers and toes like us.

When they first started advertising home computers, Tandy brand, sold by Radio Shack, $600 I think it was, they advertised them as being good to balance your checkbook.

    Jackalopes don't cumber, they lope.
