    Just been using CD-RW and CDRWin 5.05.001-Multilang on my old laptop with XP
    Tested: GB, DE, PL, EU roads, Benelux, SCA, France

    using normal CD-R's giving errors on 9 out of 10.

    Not directly, but you can transfer maps to SD card via settings menu. Go to Setup, SD card, Display data (or something like that, I don't remember clearly), and there will be an option for transferring map(s) to SD card. You can transfer all posted CD's on a 4 or 8 GB SD, but if you use Italy DO NOT transfer Major roads CD, because there is a conflict between the database of ITA and MRO.
