Also stuck at 60.2%, so I'm trying the 2013/2014 maps from this thread on the 2nd page, downloads from google drive so it shouldn't get held up: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Update: I successfully updated my 2007 Navigation software & maps (0200 software on my RNS-E) to 0260 using the 2014 navigation link posted above. Followed the guide posted in that thread ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ]) using my laptop's DVD-RW drive (tsstcorp dvdwbd sn-406ab), first try even, using Memorex DVD-R DL discs.

I found this same 5.12GB 2016 RNS-E release elsewhere, and I'm not sure it can ever work. It is not delivered as an ISO file, but as a directory structure. I don't think an RNS-E system can boot it like that. I burned it as a UDF DVD-ROM using the same drive and disc brand that I used to successfully burn multiple RNS-E 2013/2014 North America discs, and it wasn't recognized by my nav system.

Has anyone ever gotten this to actually work? What settings did they use for the burn? Many settings are taken care of within an ISO file, whereas this file system release leaves a lot of unknowns.

I am surprised to read that dvd-rom dl works, I read on multiple places that dvd+R dl was needed to make it work. Guess they were wrong if both MarkerB and Durew were successful with dvd-r.
Anyway i used dvd+r dl for the 2014 dvd iso and was not successful with magicburn and windows 10 burn option, both had a problem closing the dvd and hence the dvd were useless also in the laptop that was used to burn the dvd.
imgburn made a working copy at 2.4x speed

the 2014 dvd has these settings
    volume name: 86271_VU57A0
    iso9660 char set standard
file systems iso9660 joliet udf 1.02
    publisher information AISIN-AW
    type mode1
    imp id ROM Formatter 3.1
    volume set identification 422f2a28

When I wrote "DVD-ROM", that was meant only as the generic name for data discs vs video discs. I wasn't trying to imply anything about the writable media type. I've only used DVD+R, because that's all that's supposed to work with the RNS-E system.

Thanks for the specs on your burn. I'll give it a try.
