looks like faulty burner..If you don't get such errors while burning the same image with a different burner, that unfortunately confirms my speculation. I get similar errors with my Pioneer 112D burner when recording a DVD..however, burning a CD still works fine

Almost all DVD writers are capable burning 2-layer DVD's so that's not the question. The main question is which burners are really capable burning RNS-E DVD's good enough that it will be recognized by the system. Well, the answer is short - NOT many! In fact there is a list of compatible burners for RNS-E, you can find it here

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Nevertheless if your DVD is not recognized, that indicates 3 possible reasons for a failure: poor copy due to an incompatible burner, bad media (Verbatim is suggested but not crucial) or most likely worn laser lens in your RNS-E unit. Try to make another copy with a different burner..

Well I managed to burn a working copy (for a short) with some modifications. I changed booktype on imgburn and RNS-E read on the first try and loaded maps, but i tried today with no luck. Probably bad copy again. I can say that is possible to burn with Lite-on eSAU108 as I managed to load maps once. Just to mention I used Verbatim DL.
Maybe I should try to burn with some other software? Any suggestions?

    hi guys,
I've never used imgburn, and I have one silly question: should I use "write image file to disc" or "write files/folders to disc"?
